Fab Fox places 5th the Spoonflower plushie contest
Last week I put the finishing touches on a new design for a stuffie pattern: the ever charming and handsome, Fab Fox!
He is a charismatic super hero with a highly fashionable outfit designed for saving vixens in distress.
Like most super hero’s he wears his undies on the outside – turquoise Y-fronts, no less – and his cape is starry on one side for when he’s feeling effervescent, and firey / foxy on the reverse for zooming into action.
Converse hightop sneakers ensure maximum comfort and ankle support for those dangerous movements like jumping off buildings (or furniture as he does in our house), while still allowing for his classic “style-with-a-smile” appearance, just in case he he needs to turn on the charm while in action.
He was designed for the Spoonflower plush contest in which he was super excited to get into the coveted top ten! (Thanks voters) The fabric is NOW AVAILABLE for purchase here. A fat quarter gets you one fox, and a yard gets you four fine foxes. The tutorial on how to stitch him up will be posted on my blog shortly. Other news: There have been a few requests for a Lady fox version – so I’m working on it. Watch out Cat woman!
